Behind the Bin

We're Jeff and Ellie, the proud co-owners of Moo-Ving Local, based right here in Georgetown, Texas.

Our kids picked out the Highland cow mascot, so the whole family had a hand in building this one.

We know what a local move feels like because we've lived it. We moved to Central Texas in 2018, landing in Round Rock. A few years later we were touring houses and signing our first mortgage — just six miles from our rental. Then came one kid, another on the way, and the familiar question every growing family faces: do we stay and wait for things to get crowded, or do we find a home to grow into?

We didn't have to look far. We fell in love with the Georgetown Square, weekend walks along the San Gabriel River Trail, and the kind of neighborhood where people actually know each other. We moved 1.5 miles away. Three moves in six years, all within a 10-mile radius of Central Texas.

By 2026 we had something we didn't expect: real roots. Good friends. A community that gave us more than we anticipated. That raised a question we couldn't shake — how do we give something back?

Moo-Ving Local is our answer.

We started with a simple observation. Moving is stressful, and buying, assembling, breaking down, and hauling cardboard boxes makes it more stressful than it needs to be. We built a better option. Heavy-duty reusable moving bins, delivered to your door before your move and picked up from your new place when you're done. No store runs. No tape. No cardboard pile to deal with after.

Every bin rental also replaces dozens of single-use cardboard boxes that end up in landfills after a single move. Reusable bins last for hundreds of moves. When you choose Moo-Ving Local, you're making your move simpler and making a more sustainable choice for the community we're all part of.

We serve Georgetown, Round Rock, Leander, Cedar Park, Hutto, Liberty Hill, Pflugerville, and Austin.

If you're moving locally in Central Texas, we'd love to make it easier.
